Dream Achievement

Ahhhhhhh.

Sometimes it makes sense to just sit back and enjoy the wonderful things you've created. That's how I'm feeling in this moment. Big things have been happening in our lives. I have not been talking about them that much. I've been feeling a little more silent. (Keep meaning to write a post on silence, but it doesn't seem to come out! Ha!)

I just celebrated my seventh wedding anniversary. For some reason, seven seems like a big number. It seems much bigger than six. It seems like a relatively long time to be married. (I know, not long compared to some, but yes long compared to others. It's all relative.) Other than this one, the longest I've been in a relationship with one person was a year. So, seven years of marriage, plus two years of living in sin is pretty impressive.

We are living in the house of our dreams. (It is a work in progress, but still.) We have two wonderful children. We have a cute little dog. We have come pretty far in nine years. I feel, "Aaaaaahhhhhh."

One of our biggest accomplishments is that my husband, Kevin, is now a published writer. It's taken years of hard work. I suppose it didn't have to, if we'd just gotten our thoughts together sooner. But it's been a hill to climb, and we are climbing it together. Oddly, I feel pretty accomplished for his accomplishment. Is this what marriage is about? It feels good.

I guess this is all a reminder to stop and take time to look around you. I imagine you have created a life with wonderful dreams which came true as well. You may not have everything you think you've ever wanted, but the most you notice all the wonders you do have, the more wondrousness you will attract.

The biggest ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh of today is that Kevin's book came out on Amazon today (or yesterday? We're not sure!) This is it. This feels like the big time. This is where we see...it's all happening. It's really just the beginning for him. I feel sometimes like he's been interviewing for this job for seven years and now he just got it. Now he's got it and we're starting from the ground up. But I have faith. We're working from the inside out. We're working on feeling good. We are rendezvousing with an amazing group of people. It's been a fabulous ride and I truly believe it is just going to get fabulouser and fabulouser. (Yes, I'm making up a lot of words this post. I guess that's what happens when I don't write for a while...I forget how!)

So, if you've made it this far in this post, thank you! If you'd like to read Kevin's post on Dream Achievement today, click here. (I lifted the title from him.) If you'd like to check out his book on Amazon (I still can't believe it!), click the photo of the cover below. (Or here.)

And remember to appreciate your ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh moments. (We've also been saying EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! a lot. That's fun too.)
