I attract lots of clients who choose to be successful.
I attract lots of clients who are willing to make changes.
I attract lots of clients who respect me and my time.
I attract lots of clients who are fun to work with.
I have plenty of help.

(Basically, we have been attracting a big ole break and home and work with the weather. Having reread the above affirmations, I can tell ya, I'm feeling a little bit resistant. The idea of "lots of clients" is a little daunting right now. Hmmmm. I'll just sit with that for now.)

I'm regaining my energy.
I'm regaining my focus.
I am in the right place at the right time.
There is more than enough.
I am happy.
My family is harmonious.
My home is awesome.
We are becoming more and more sustainable every day.
We are becoming more and more abundant every day!
My husband takes great care of me.
I have lots of help.
I have lots of fun.
I am freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I am freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Currently Reading: The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire

The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire by Deepak Chopra

I originally got this 2004 book by Chopra from the library, but ended up ordering my own copy because I want to work with it in more depth. This work looks at the science behind coincidences and synchronicity and gives guidelines for how to use them to create what you want in life. Sometimes I had to fight through the quantum physics descriptions, but if I made it, then they are pretty accessible. My science quotient is pretty low.

Chopra also goes into a method for using archetypes in daily meditation. This section was notable for me in that I have come across archetypes in many other books and never felt moved or inspired. I never quite "got it" before. I understood the ideas, but for some reason, they fell flat for me. Perhaps it was just the right time for me, or perhaps Mr. Chopra puts it in a new way, but I found myself being very motivated to figure out my archetypes and use them to inspire me to live larger on a daily basis.

Be Present: Rumer Willis

About a week ago, I made reference to 6 phrases I've been using in my life:

Feel Good.
Be Fabulous.
Live Now.
Enjoy Abundance.
Be Present.
Savor Life.

I don't think I made reference to this, but I have been considering getting these tattooed on my wrists. I had the thought and I let it go. Not sure if I will or if I won't. We are working on some items in the store with these phrases, just because I like them. Affirmations. Short. Catchy. Meaningful. Inspiring. Words I try to live by.

So, today, as I was just surfing the net, I found pictures of Rumer Willis. She's ahead of me on the tattoo thing! I don't think I can link to the exact photo that shows it, but it's on slide 8. She has Be Present tattooed down her side. How cool.

High five, Rumer! (I like the font, too!)

New Tool from Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len

So, I am totally paraphrasing from something a friend told me last night. However, it's been interesting.

She told me about this book:

I was going to explain what I'm doing, but instead, I think I'll leave it at that. If you feel drawn, explore that book. The truth of the matter is that I have not read it yet and I am practicing a little thing based on what a friend told me about what she read. I feel it would be irresponsible to even try to give a blurb on something I could very well oversimplify or get very wrong. So, check it out. I hope to. And perhaps I will be back with more information after I do. Or, if you want to comment on your experience with this book, please do so!

Quote of the Day: Audrey Hepburn

"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others;
For beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness;
And for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."

-Audrey Hepburn via Kristen Bell

New template for day planning

I have a new template for what I want to accomplish on a daily basis. In the past, it has been easy for me to get distracted. I am now committing to more discipline and focus. I am committing to making sure my priorities get done so I live the life of my dreams.

The following are my priorities for every day.

Every day

Meditation
Focus
Physical activity
Healthy eating
Feeling good/fun

Most days
relationships
dharma (life work)
learning

Initially, I made a list that encompassed all those things on a daily basis as my priorities. I realized that I might be asking too much. So I distilled it to the things that I felt were really essential to accomplish every day and then allowed some flex room for the others.

I also had "giving back" on the list, but I'm not sure where that goes. In a sense, it is every day. If I am doing my dharma and/or working on my relationships, I am giving to the world. (Although those things are most days.) I'm not sure exactly what I mean by "giving back". I know it is important, but not sure it's on the list yet or in what capacity. But I also feel the most important thing is keeping myself in order. Taking care of myself and giving back flows from there. If I focus too much on giving back, I could slip into self-sacrificer mode. That helps no one. If everyone took care of themselves, everyone would be taken care of, right? Sometimes I like to use that as a test question for my decisions, "If everyone did this, what would the world look like?" If it looks good, I feel it's a good thing to do. So anyway. It's not on the list yet. But it is in alternate orbit.

So, since I like repetition and I feel like the whole "giving back" issue hijacked the most important points in this post, I'll repeat my list for me and for you.

Daily
Meditation
Focus
Physical activity
Healthy eating
Feeling good/fun

Most days
relationships
dharma (life work)
learning

I like the word dharma better than work. It feels like a calling. It feels like meaningful work. It can mean many different things, in my opinion. The work I do at my job is my dharma, in some sense, but also is being a mom. Taking care of my home and family is part of my dharma. Dharma is not drudgery. The word "work" for me connotes drudgery. Dharma is joyful. Dharma is inspired. Dharma makes us say a loud "Yes!" When we are following our dharma, our spirit sings. We know we are doing what we are meant to do and it feels goods. It is deeply fulfilling. I suppose sometimes drudgery can be a part of dharma. But when we think of the larger reason we are doing it, we can infuse the drudgery with inspiration. I may not want to clean my refrigerator. It can feel like drudgery, but when I think of it as a gift to myself and my family, it can be a part of my dharma. (I'm still not doing it today, though!)

Ok, so that list again...

Daily
Meditation
Focus
Physical activity
Healthy eating
Feeling good/fun

Most days
relationships
dharma (life work)
learning

Ok, so far so good on today. I need to get off my butt and do some physical activity.

I guess I could be more specific about these daily goals, like I have about dharma and (dare I say it?) giving back.

Meditation--I do a simple breathing meditation that includes mudras at least once/day. It doesn't take long, but it helps me to feel much better and focus. It helps me connect to my spirit. Because it doesn't take long, I encourage myself to do it more than once/day. I found I was much more effective at work when I would take the time to do it at my desk before my day began. I am now incorporating it into my daily life at home, too. When I have some time in the evening before bed, I do it then, too. I am also incorporating it into any time of the day when I feel I need more focus or to relax a little. It infuses me with peace and energy.

Focus--My daily focus is a part of this. I also strive to be intentional and mindful in most situations. I strive to segment intend my day a la Abraham.

Physical Activity--Right now, I strive to move at least 10,000 steps on my pedometer. This is a realistic goal. In the future, I may choose to be more specific about getting in specific types of activity or more of it. For now, 10,000 steps is something I can achieve. Sometimes I need to work harder at it than others.

Healthy Eating--Moderation is a big part of healthy eating for me. I can still enjoy my favorite foods. For me, healthy eating includes getting 5+ servings of fruits and vegetables, drinking primarily water or herbal tea throughout the day, eating sweets or junk food in very limited quantities. I am not totally meeting these guidelines right now, but I am getting there. I love my coffee. I choose to drink it still. There may come a day when I quit it (I have in the past with no problem.) I am currently kicking a diet soda habit (1-3/day). Not sure if I will let it go completely or not, but I choose to drastically reduce it. Ideally, to none at all. I choose to focus on the water and herbal tea. It seems to be about beverages for me. I still enjoy an alcoholic beverage occasionally, but not too often. Again, moderation.

Feeling good/fun! Pretty self-explanatory. I try to make feeling good a choice as much as possible, regardless of what is going on around me. However, usually what is going on around me is pretty good. I have made it that way. :)

Relationships, too, are pretty self-explanatory. Giving time and energy to making sure the primary relationships in my life are functioning well. Giving time and energy to the important people in my life. Making it a priority. This can take many forms, from date night with my husband, to special time with my kids, to emails and letters to friends, or a girls night out. Whatever it is, it's about valuing the important people around me.

Learning--to me this is just about being a lifelong learner. I am curious about the world around me on many levels. My learning continues on a daily basis. I like to learn about astrology and spirituality and the law of attraction. I am currently engaged in increasing my knowledge of the financial world. It is important to me to continue learning and growing and staying current. It is important to me to focus my learning on things that will improve my life, my family's life, those around me, the health of the planet and her beings, and the world in general. It's important to keep learning to keep my brain sharp and to continue to be relevant in the world. For all these reasons, I'm a lifelong learner.

Now I have to go do some of this stuff. (Of course, writing all this is part of my dharma and my learning and giving back.)

Oooh! They have the castle/button quote on there today!

When you understand the Laws, then you understand that it is not more difficult to create a castle than it is a button. They are equal. It is not more difficult to create $10 million than $100,000. It is the same application of the same Law to two different intentions.

Daily Focus 11/26/08

Last workday before the Holiday!

Could not resist that.

Today is a great day.

My head is swimming with ideas for my new eco-consultant business! Of course, that is not the work I'm doing today. I do like, however, that the following list of affirmations can pretty much apply to all my current ventures:

Quoting myself:

I attract clients who are abundant.
There are more than enough of these clients.
I attract lots of clients who choose to be successful.
I attract lots of clients who are willing to make changes.
I attract lots of clients who respect me and my time.
I attract lots of clients who are fun to work with.

I have a new one:
I attract clients who are willing to invest in themselves.

I like that. I was thinking of replacing the "abundant" one, but I like them together.

I attract clients who are willing to invest in themselves.

I am also excited that Pluto moves into Capricorn today. (I have not yet read that article I linked to, but I thought I should include something for people who don't know about astrology (which tends to be most people.)) Pluto was in Capricorn earlier this year and then it retrograded back into Sagittarius for a few months. My experience with Pluto in Capricorn was that I was much more willing to follow a structured plan. I enjoyed doing my budget and staying within it. It was like a game. I'm hoping it will make it easier for me to stick to my healthy eating goals, too. (Once it went back into Sagittarius, it felt like a chore or a cage!)

Capricorn is about responsibility and structure, among many other things. To be honest, I'm ready for some. So, yay! It happens around 11:00 am PST today. I'm sure on a global scale we will also be seeing major news and upheaval with big business (shocker, I know!). Pluto will be moving through Capricorn and transforming everything business-related. It should get interesting folks! At the time, it sometimes doesn't feel great, but when it's over, you can usually see just why it's so good the transformation happened.

Ok, I need some time for my coffee, so I best stop blathering and add in some more focus.

Today, I am in the flow.
Nothing is more important than that I feel good.
My finances are rockin' (in a good way!)
My mental energy is strong and engaged.
My family is happy and healthy.
A shout out to Kevin's back: Get in line! Kevin's back is healing nicely.
I am following my health goals better than ever, thank you very much, Pluto!

Have a great day, everyone!

Today is a great day.

Today I will live in the moment.
Today I live in the moment. (Ha!)

There is a beautiful sunrise going on out there.
It's a new day.
Today I continue consciously creating my work circumstances.

Let me pull out those affirmations again.

There are more than enough of these clients.

I attract lots of clients who are fun to work with.

That's my order, universe.

I also order that I have plenty of help.
I can relax and take a break when I need.
I have plenty of time to really help people.

It's just getting better and better.
My finances are in order.
My wealth is growing.

If you remember from a few weeks ago, I was considering a new business.

Well, it is now official. I have signed up to be a Green Irene Eco-Consultant. I post it here because I believe this came to me because of all my work and abundance manifesting.

Daily Focus 11/23/08

Today is a great day!

I am energized.
There are so many exciting things happening in the world.
There are so many exciting things happening in MY world.

I have plenty of time to do all the things I enjoy.
My abundance is coming to me in wonderful ways.
I am getting closer and closer to financial freedom.
It's very exciting.
I do work about which I am passionate.

My family is happy and healthy.
We have such a cute little dog.
Our home is beautiful.
It is getting more and more beautiful all the time.
It is getting better and better organized all the time.
We are working towards a very efficient, beautiful, comfortable, sustainable home!

I feel good.

from Abraham:

I intend to see
I want to see
I expect to see
No matter who I am working with
No matter where I am
No matter what I am doing

I intend to see that which I want to see.

Life is good.
Life is GREAT!

Celebration of Results: Work Affirmations

Oh.My.God!

You may recall that yesterday I made some affirmations about my work before going in. They were as follows.

I attract clients who are abundant.
There are more than enough of these clients.
I attract lots of clients who choose to be successful.
I attract lots of clients who are willing to make changes.
I attract lots of clients who respect me and my time.
I attract lots of clients who are fun to work with.

I have to say, the results were impressive. Although yesterday it cut the clients on my schedule in HALF, every single one of them fit these criteria. The ones who did not show had an obvious lack (in my mind) of at least one of those components. Although I saw fewer clients, they were ALL SUCCESSFUL yesterday. 100%. That is not usual. Well, it hasn't been in the past, but I imagine it will be from now on! I'm sticking with it and excited to see what happens.

I am grateful that my boss and coworkers are also consciously practicing Law of Attraction, because they found my results quite interesting. Now, I just have to fill in the gaps with all those abundant folks who will be showing up. (Well, I don't have to--Law of Attraction will do it for me as long as I keep my head on straight!) It's very exciting. It actually gives me more energy to continue with my work to think that my clients will meet the above criteria.

Law of Attraction rocks!

Daily Focus 11/22/08

This is my daily focus. Feel free to add yours in the comments. Or put it anywhere!

I liked what I wrote so much on Thursday, I decided to recreate it here:

I attract clients who are abundant.
There are more than enough of these clients.
I attract lots of clients who choose to be successful.
I attract lots of clients who are willing to make changes.
I attract lots of clients who respect me and my time.
I attract lots of clients who are fun to work with.

I feel like I have to reread that a few (thousand) times. Ha. I realized this week that I can control what happens at work. (duh.) Ok, maybe I cannot control what happens, but I can create my experience of it. I can attract what I wish to attract. I have understood this all along, but I guess I keep changing my mind about what I wish to attract regarding my current day job. Part of me is ready to move on. But I am still there! It's been challenging to reconcile these things. I am taking steps to move on. I choose to focus in that direction. I guess as I was focusing in that direction, I let go of my thoughts about what was happening. I can do both.

I can choose to move on AND I can still attract ideal circumstances as long as I am there. The more ideal the circumstances I attract, the sooner I move on. Interesting. That just sort of came to me. The more ideal the circumstances I attract, the sooner I move on. That is very much what Abraham says about things.

Very good.

I can choose to move on AND I can still attract ideal circumstances (as long as I am there?).
I can choose to move on AND I can still attract ideal circumstances.
I can choose to move on AND attract ideal circumstances.

I find it interesting how that affirmation is morphing in my mind. I like all the versions.

For today, I choose the first one:
I can choose to move on AND I can still attract ideal circumstances as long as I am there.

I guess it's all about work today.
Oh, and btw, I am a magnet to money.
My finances are all organized.
We attract the perfect circumstances under which to create our financial freedom.
It is all happening.
All is well.

I allow him to take care of me.
He takes care of me in small and large ways.
He takes care of me financially.
What a relief that is!
And really, the universe takes care of all of us, but he is a great conduit for financial energy as long as I believe it.
He is very talented.
His story is coming to people today!

I'm back!

I had a wonderful trip, but I do enjoy coming home and getting back into the groove.

Life is exciting. Good things are happening all over the place.

Coffee is good!

Here is my focus, using the Five Pillars of Wealth from James Arthur Ray:

Financial: We are very abundant! All our projects are coming in under budget. We get what we want when we want it. Our bills are all paid. We are financially free.

Relational: My relationships create fun, joy, peace, stability, substance, love.

Mental: I am fascinated by the world around me. I have plenty of time to enjoy the books I am reading.

Physical: I am mindful about my food and activity choices.

Spiritual: I am in the flow.

Nothing is more important than that I feel good!

Today will go really well for me. I will enjoy seeing clients and going to my training class. Today will be fun and relaxing.

I am in the flow.
Nothing is more important than that I feel good.
All is well.
My upcoming trip will go smoothly.
It will be fun.

(I will be leaving Wednesday A.M. and not back until late on Sunday. Not sure if I will post tomorrow.)

I will use my segment intending (Abraham) if not daily focus. (I try to use it anyway.)
All is well.

Daily Focus 11/10/08

I'm really digging the using the 5 pillars of wealth in my focus these days. So, I'm going to go ahead and do that again today.

Financial: We are growing in abundance every day. I notice and appreciate the abundance all around me. I enjoy abundance. I know that more and more is on it's way to me all the time. As Abraham would say, my vibrational escrow is just jammed with money. I allow it. I enjoy it.

Relational: I enjoy fun and fulfillment in all my relationships. The relationships around me are harmonious. My marriage is deeply satisfying in all ways. My kids are helpful and loving.

Mental: I am always attracting mentally fascinating situations and learning in a good way.

Physical: I am physically active. I enjoy living in my body. I make healthy choices. I am mindful about my choices. My body is my temple.

Spiritual: I am in the flow.

From Abraham:
Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

I intend to see
I want to see
I expect to see
No matter who I am working with
No matter where I am
No matter what I am doing.

I intend to see that which I want to see.

All is well.

Today is a great day.

I am so happy to be free today!

Everything that needs to get done today will get done.

I am increasing my financial assets all the time.
I am creating more passive income.
I am truly abundant.
Our lives are happy.
My family is harmonious.
We enjoy fun times together.
My kids are getting along really well.
They are both good at manifesting!
They enjoy being in harmony with the rest of the family.
My home is getting more comfortable, clean, organized, and beautiful all the time.

I savor every moment.
Ha! I originally wrote "I savor every money." Well, that too.

Here is a great weight loss affirmation I got from the book Amazing Grace:

I am always at the best weight ever for myself and I instantly achieve and maintain that weight in any situation forever.

Money is coming to me from everywhere.
Money money loves me.

Today, I am in the flow.
Today, I have fun!
I accomplish what needs to be accomplished.
But mostly, I savor life.
I have fun!

Daily Focus, 11/6/08

If I am going to be honest about today, I'm feeling a little low energy.

I've been tired for a couple days.

I know, being honest and looking at reality isn't that helpful. But I also need to go from where I'm at.

So, that is where I'm at.

NOW, what am I going to create?

More energy! More happiness!

I am going to focus on how I feel today. I am going to focus on feeling good. Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

I am finding my passion in my work. I am infusing it with my spirit. It is a great exchange of energy that creates more energy for all of us.

Today, I live in the moment.
I love in the moment.
I enjoy the moment.
I savor life.
I look at the bright side.
I rest when I can.
I recharge.

I do everything I can to feel good.
Nothing is more important than that I feel good.
(Abraham, as per usual.)

Manifestory: Elephants

Yesterday, I was having a conversation with a colleague about manifesting. We were ruminating over why we could not just snap our fingers and produce something. Her example was an elephant. She wanted to know why she couldn't really produce an elephant right there.

I said, "That is annoying. Let's manifest that we go see Abraham and ask them that question."

And she said, "Abraham will just say that if I really believed it I could."

I said, "Hrmph. Yeah. I think you don't really want an elephant here, either."

She said, "Well, maybe a baby elephant. And then I could just *snap* and say 'back to your mother.'"

It was a fun conversation. Semi-serious exploration into the nature of manifesting and our abilities therein.

Today, as I was trying to get my kid ready for preschool, he kept bugging me to go upstairs with him. Then he made me wait outside the bedroom, because he had a surprise for me. Time was short and my patience was getting a little short, but I was trying to be a nice mommy, so I went for it all. When he called me in, he handed me something wrapped up in his swim trunks. (His creative version of wrapping paper in the moment. He's like Secret Agent Sydney Bristow from the TV show Alias. He uses what he has.)

So he said, "Happy Christmas!" And handed me this:

The only message I can glean from this is to trust the universal timing and delivery? Because, really, this was much more charming than if we had actually gotten an elephant to show up at work. In reality, that probably would not have been so great.

As my friend would say, "The universe is so cool!"

Daily Focus, 11/4/08. Get out there and vote, citizens of the United States!

Today is a great day.

I look forward to being on this crazy ride of election day. I look forward to an amazing result.

Today, really, the election is consuming me.

I guess I will say a prayer that all goes well for all concerned. That our nation finds peace and prosperity. That we are able to keep our balance through whatever change comes about.

I choose peace and prosperity.
(I am choosing peace and prosperity?)
Peace and prosperity are mine.
They really are.

All is well.
Everyone have a great day!

Daily Focus 11/3/08

Today is a great day!

Today I signed up for my new business!

Whatever needs to be accomplished today will be accomplished.
I am focused.
I am in the flow.
I feel fabulous.
I know all is well.
I am fabulous.
It is all unfolding as it is meant to be, as I design it with my thoughts.

Today, I will make the right thoughts and actions to help Zane grow into a more independent, happy, spiritually aware person.

My family is at harmony.
My home is always improving.
My home is comfortable.
My home is clean.
My home is happy.

I get time to myself when I need it.

I get everything accomplished that needs to be accomplished.

Money comes to me easily.
I always say yes to feeling good about money. (This is from Manifestation Coach Denise Coates.)
I always say yes to feeling good about money.

That is an interesting tweak. I like it. I always say yes to feeling good about money.

I feel good about money!
I enjoy my passive income.
I enjoy the money I work for as well.
I increase my passive income all the time.
I love my passive income.
I say yes to feeling good about my passive income.

All is well.
I am at peace.
Everything in divine timing.

I savor life.
All moments are golden.
I live in the now.
My surroundings are beautiful.
Everything works out for me.

I do what I want when I want.
I have what I want when I want.

Abraham Quote of the Day: Somebody will do what you don't want to. Or they won't.

I loved this quote that I found on the Abraham-Hicks site this morning. It addresses that fear that you have to do the things you don't want to do because no one wants to do them, but they need to be done (For example, I used to feel guilty when I thought of hiring someone to clean my house.)

Anything you desire, the Universe can find a way to let it happen within the context of people’s natural, joyful desires. It must be, for this is a joy-based Universe.

And so, as you watch children playing in the mud and having great joy in it, you might not enjoy playing in the mud, but they do. And so, there’s somebody enjoying doing something you don’t want to do. And that pretty much applies to everything. There’s someone who would enjoy doing every thing that you don’t want to do. And if it really came down to where there was really not one person willing to do that thing, you would develop another way of approaching it. There are a lot of things that were in your history that you no longer participate in. You left them behind because no one wanted to do them.

--- Abraham

Today is a great day.

I enjoy each moment.
I am in the flow.
Work goes well.
It is easy.
It goes by quickly.
I enjoy it.
It is profitable and fulfilling.

Today is great.

Nothing is more important than that I feel good (Abraham)

I intend to see
I want to see
I expect to see
No matter who I am working with
No matter where I am
No matter what I am doing

I intend to see that which I want to see. (Abraham)

And
Money money loves me.

Today is going to be fun!

I have a lot of activity planned for today. All will get done that needs to be done. We will enjoy ourselves all day. It's Halloween!

My phone conversation this morning will be smooth and fun.
My errands will be accomplished easily and in the flow.
All is falling into place.
We are getting more and more joyful every day.
We are enjoying our current life more and more.
We are creating an even BETTER future for ourselves.
As Abraham says, "The better it gets, the better it gets."

Today I appreciate what is.
There is so much to be appreciative of.
I will enjoy each moment.
I savor life.
I am enjoying the ride.
I enjoy the destination, too.
Then I make another, even greater destination!
The fun goes on and on.
There is always more to create
More to be
More to do
More to experience

I appreciate.

Celebration of Results: New Business?

The reason I was so scattered this morning to the point of not even posting my daily focus was that I was focused on something else entirely!

As you may know if you read this blog regularly, I have been planning on offering law of attraction coaching. For some reason, I have not gotten it going yet. Well, I was out of town last weekend. That makes it tougher. There are a few things I need to get together in order to offer it. I just have not felt called to get them together. So I haven't. (If anyone out there is dying for my law of attraction consulting services, let me know, and I'll light a fire under my own butt.) So anyway, the fire under my own butt right now seems to be burning very dimly, so it hasn't been happening.

In the past couple days I received an email from a new company that was recently born. I quite literally just got swept away with reading all their materials and sending them the introductory email required to get the process started. It is quite possibly a very exciting opportunity, including many of the things I enjoy about my current job, but so much more. It is not only an opportunity to make money, but also to make a difference in the world in a way that really, really makes sense to me. I tend to look for that in a job. Aquarius, I guess.

Funny thing is, I kept opening up Money and the Law of Attraction from Abraham-Hicks to a certain point that talks just about that: if you want a new opportunity, focus on the things in your current employ that you really appreciate. Although some fear that will get you stuck in your current employ, it is not the case. It just raises your vibration and brings you more of what you do want.

And then this opportunity just dropped into my lap.

And then I felt very drawn to researching it and getting my stuff together. Fast.

And then I responded to by the company. Fast.

And I also received more confirmation from the universe. Pretty fast.

So, it's exciting and I'm moving forward on it. Obviously, I'm being vague right now. If and when I am committed, I'll no doubt share more of the details here.

However, I thought it interesting as a result of things I'd been manifesting. And also explains why the coaching here hasn't been really flying yet.

I truly believe, all in good time.

I follow my instincts.

I act on inspiration.

It's all very exciting.

Daily Focus 10/30/08

OMG! I was so focused on being in the flow and following my inspiration that I never posted a daily focus for today (yesterday?). (I still think of it as today since I have not slept yet, but it technically is yesterday, seeing as it is after 12:00am.)

I had the thought to post this as a simple and elegant focus for today, so here it is:

Today, I appreciate!

Manifesting a Great New Relationship Video Tool

Here is a sweet video from ILOVE2FeelGOOD (This is the same person who sent me the previous video).

I see there are a lot of people out there looking to manifest a wonderful relationship. Sometimes it can get discouraging. Sometimes we may not believe it's possible. Abraham offers a process/game (#12) in Ask and it is Given, called "Wouldn't it be nice if ... ?"

This game is designed to soften our discouragement or frustration by making it feel more like a daydream. If you are ardently thinking of what you want, even if you are only spinning daydreams, it is the same to the law of attraction. But for us, it softens our knee-jerk reaction to doubt. Getting rid of the disappointment and doubt in this way strengthens the process.

Here's the video:

Seeing Through the Eyes of Source: New Abraham-Inspired Video

This is a beautiful video inspired by Abraham that gives you some great processes for dramatically increasing your joy and effectiveness. Enjoy!

My home is becoming more comfortable and beautiful all the time.
My kids occupy themselves with enriching activities.
My home is harmonious.

Celebrations of Results: My Trip!

I'm BACK!

First of all, I'm So. Grateful! I had such a great trip. It was amazing. It was completely guided. I was so taken care of! I just realized last night that I had opened myself up to being more taken care of by my husband and others. Wow!

I had wanted to make a trip to see my friend in Alaska, who is having a very hard time right now, but I didn't really have it in my budget. A woman up there had contacted me a while ago and we had been corresponding. She knew of the whole situation and offered that I could stay with her. That just opened me right up.

Once I realized I had a place I could afford to stay, I checked on my mileage with Alaska Airlines. I had exactly the right amount to buy a ticket (from when I signed up for their credit card a year ago). Then the same woman offered that she would figure everything out and drive me around. I was a little apprehensive, so I asked another friend to come with me. My hostess had no problem whatsoever with me bringing a friend, and even offered that I could bring my 3 year old! And she would babysit! I left my 3 year old at home, but it was still an amazing offer.

I don't want to go into too many details, but I do want to point out that we adored our hostess and her husband. They were THE most gracious and interesting people. They housed us, they drove us around, they let us use their car, they fed us. It was amazing. All because they wanted to help. Really wonderful people.

The funny thing is that the situation with my friend is pretty sad. So I did not think this would be a "fun" trip. Plus, this was the first time I'd left my kid overnight. For two nights. However, everyone at home, before I even left kept saying how much fun I was going to have. I was thinking, "I don't really think so..." And even reminded them WHY I was going, and everyone just kept giving me the message it would be great. So, I decided to get on the bandwagon and say "It will be fun." And even for my daily focus, my affirmation was "my trip is charmed". And it was!

Even though my friend is in a terrible situation, we did have fun, all three of us. Another woman popped out of the woodwork, who I just adored as well, and happened to be from my hometown! I was totally taken care of. I saw an old friend. I met 3 new friends. I spent time with a friend with whom I seem to not get enough time. And I spent minimal money on a trip that could have cost me well over $1000. Oh, AND I LOST WEIGHT! Perfect, perfect. And those are just the big things. Little things happened everywhere that were hilarious, fun, and completely guided and care-taking. It was amazing.

Thank you, Universe!

Daily Focus 10/24/08

Today is a great day!

I feel great!

Wow, that came out with more enthusiasm than I thought I had. Must be that I just watched this mind movie (It's one of my favorites. I think I've posted it here before, but I have no problem with reposting. Repetition is helpful.)

So, yes, I feel great.

I guess I am doing my "Weekend Focus" because I will be gone for the next couple days. As I think about what is coming up ahead for me, these are my intentions:

My trip will go smoothly.
I will enjoy myself with old friends and new.
I will have fun.
I will be relaxed.
I will enjoy the ride.
I will have some time to myself.

I guess I really like "I will enjoy the ride". That seems to stick out for me. I will enjoy the ride.

My family will do great without me for a few days.

Zane will feel good. His body will heal itself. Kevin will be fine without me. He will be patient. He will get along with everyone in the house. Everyone will be helpful to him. They will enjoy the time while I am gone.

I will enjoy the ride.
I am safe.
I will enjoy the ride.
All is well.
This trip fell together perfectly for me, planned by the law of attraction.
This trip is charmed.
Oooh, I like that.
This trip is charmed.
This trip is charmed.
I said I like repetition.
This trip is charmed.

All is well.
Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

Here is another one from Abraham:

I intend to see
I want to see
I expect to see
No matter who I am working with
No matter where I am
No matter what I am doing
I intend to see that which I want to see

My trip will bring joy to myself and others.
It will be fun.
I am having fun.

Peace out.

Whoa! Forgot Daily Focus today & some results

Perhaps Daily Focus is very necessary.

I used Segment Intending (Intending what I wanted from each part of my day.) I hadn't even realized I forgot the daily focus. It was a somewhat un-focused day. Ha. We tried to go to Roloff Farms and never got there because there was a line of cars for a mile and half before we even got close. Oh well, it was mostly fun anyway. Especially considering that we were basically in the car for 5 hours just to have Burger King for lunch and get some coffee on the way home. So, I guess I will do my focus now for the rest of the day.

Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

My home is harmonious.

(btw, it is much cleaner--it has been getting "magically" cleaned!)

The people in my home get along and are happy.

I have a good date tonight with my husband. Well, I just got an inclination that my manifestations with that are coming faster -- he just came up and kissed me right as I was writing that. And again. And again. Gotta go! Just kidding.

I did find $40 in my living room this morning. So, I am a magnet to money. The truth is that it was my husband's money that fell out of his pocket, but still.

I easily make healthy choices for myself and my family. I enjoy fun times today.

All is well.

Abraham and the Current Financial Climate

Hey all,

I just found this video yesterday where Abraham responds to Jerry Hicks' question about the current financial climate. It is very timely. I think it's pretty cute how Abraham sorta teases Jerry and surprises him, even after all of these years. Check it out.

Daily Focus 10/16/08: More More More!

Hey this is my 100th Post!

Wahoooooooooo!

This is my daily focus. Feel free to put yours in the comments. Or put it anywhere.

Today is a great day.

Abundance is mine.
I live in a fabulous house.
I am warm and dry.
I have plenty of good things to eat.
I have the internet (love the internet)
We have two cars.
We have a sweet little doggie who happily wears sweaters.
I have lots of great friends.
I have trips planned to see some of my great friends.
I have fun.
I have spending money.
I enjoy spending money.
We are getting our floor fixed!
A bedroom will be mine!
Our house is becoming more comfortable every day.
I have love.
Lots of love.
I work with people I truly like.
I have lots of inspiration.
I have great ideas.
I have fun. (again.)

There is so much to celebrate!

I am free.
I do what I want when I want.
I have what I want when I want.
I can be, do, or have ANYTHING.
It's just as easy to create a castle as it is to create a button. (Abraham)

I am focusing on my abundance today.
(I had such great results with focusing on my husband taking care of me, I thought it was worth a shot!)

Ha ha. Ok, that was a joke, but we can see that I have some resistance. Which is why the abundance has not flowed as much as I would like. Somehow, I don't truly believe it. Let's talk it up.

Ok. I have all that stuff I just mentioned. I really AM abundant. I really DO believe in the law of attraction. I see it All. The. Time. I have a whole freakin' blog about it. I have entry after entry detailing how I've used the law of attraction to get what I really want. What is it I'm working on creating with abundance?

Freedom. I want freedom. My choice is do what I want when I want. Have what I want when I want. I have been practicing that. What, specifically, is the abundance I am thinking? Because, I really am very abundant already. So, it is the freedom to choose to work when I want to and not work when I don't want to. It is the freedom to choose to get, be, or have whatever I want simply on the basis of the fact that I want it. Now. Money will give me that. I welcome money. It can come to me in a myriad of ways. Right now, I make money while I sleep even. Passive income. This is what I choose. Passive income.

Right now, I like my job. I would just like more freedom and more money. I am happy in what I do. I don't have a huge problem with it. I really just want more freedom and more money. And the more money is really just to get more freedom.

Freedom to have what I want when I want it.
Freedom to do what I want when I want.

I am actually really darn close to this when I think about it.
I don't really mind going to work. It's ok. Usually I rather like it. I rather like my schedule. Often. So there, I have already created something I love. I have created a schedule that mostly works for me. Now I just want to have even MORE control over that schedule.

As we can see, I have a lot of great abundance. I am really doing well here. Now I just want more. I have so much. Give me more. Ok, feeling a little resistance. (little truth here). It is ok to want more. There is plenty for everyone. It is good to want more. When I have more I will have more to give. To myself and others. I will create wonderful things with more. This is an incredibly abundant universe. My wanting and having more is a great thing for everyone. More more more. It is ok to want more. I can have more and still live simply. Oh, that's a good one. I can have more and give more to others. I can be a conduit of MORE goodness when I have more.

Ok, I feel pretty good about this.

More
More
More

Ok, I will go one level deeper. I think I am very comfortable where I am at. I can feel good about it. More. More. More is kinda hard for me. It goes against some deep beliefs I have about being a good person. About not buying in to the American ideal of overdoing it. What I have to tell myself is, "I will still be the same person with more. I will do good things with more. As I said before, I can live simply with more." I will be generous with more. I will be wise with more. I will do good things with more. I will be happy with more. I will be comfortable with more. I will be in control of myself with more. I will manage my more simply and with honor. More is ok. More is good.

More
More
More

It doesn't have to be stuff. It can be more help. I am always welcoming more help. I can give that more help more money. I can have more experiences. I can give others more experiences. More does not have to be excess. More can be exactly what I want when I want it. When I give in to the more that I want I am happy. When I give in to the more that I want I am in balance. I help balance the universe. It is balanced. It is flow. I allow. Shutting myself off from the more creates resistance. Allowing the more, the tangible and the intangible, is allowing my well-being.

Wow, I like that one.

Allowing the more, the tangible and the intangible, is allowing my well-being.

My husband will do well with more. My children will do well with more. My home will be a comforting beacon with more. My friends will do well with more. People I have not met yet and may never meet will benefit from my more. We are wise. We have honor. We will treat the more with wisdom, reverence, and honor.

More
More
More

More wisdom
More reverence
More honor

More more more is feeling better!

This feels so good. This is the work I am meant to do. It is my next step. More money, more freedom, more perfect work. I am always stepping into my perfect work. It is fun to watch. It is exhilarating. My next step is a deeper, richer experience. My next step is better than I would have thought possible. My next step is filled with joy and satisfaction. My next step is filled with ease and comfort. My next step is filled with all good things. And it comes from more more more. And it is more more more. And it brings more more more than I could ever imagine. And I am imagining it now. And it is so good.

Thank you!

Results Celebration: Dayum, My Man is Good!

All day today, I just kept asking Kevin if he had read my blog. He kept saying, "No."

If you read my earlier entry, you may remember that I wrote:

My husband is successful. He takes great care of me. (Interesting, noticing a little resistance to that last sentence. Must be my independent woman upbringing. I'll try again.) My husband takes great care of me. I allow my husband to take great care of me. I LOVE it when my husband takes care of me. It feels good to have him take care of me. I can still take care of myself. It is just nice to have someone help. I allow the flow of well-being that comes to me through my husband. It is all the same well-being. I always have access to it. The universe sends me well-being. I am well-being. I allow it. Sometimes it comes through my husband. Sometimes it comes from other places. But, in truth, my husband does take great care of me. He cooks and cleans and takes care of the children. He does the laundry. He does sweet things for me. He compliments me. He is working on our financial future all the time. He is developing his artistic abilities. He takes great care of all of us!

Now, everything I wrote above is true. It wasn't some namby-pamby, new age, "I wish it were true." Actual, real true. My husband does those things for me. Today he went way beyond in The. Coolest. Ways.

Example #1: I have just decided in the last day or so I'd like to exercise more AND spend more quality time with my son. I decided I would try doing some sort of exercise with him. Today, I decided to walk together this afternoon. I added the dog into the mix to sweeten the deal for the 3 year old. The only probably was that the 3 year old had already decided to be Tarzan 2. Basically, that means he just takes most of his clothes off. So, to go for my walk, I'd have to get him dressed first. I casually mentioned it to my husband and about 5 minutes later, Tarzan 2 comes down fully dressed. As I'm marvelling at all of this, my sweet husband is getting the collar, harness, sweater, and leash on the dog. Yes, he wore all those things. Yes, my husband put all those things on him. Basically, I had to do almost NOTHING in order to get on my high maintenance walk. Oh, and as I was walking out, Kevin called my name. I turned around and he handed me a bag for if the dog did his business. OMG! Talk about care-taking! For ALL of us!

After all this, I just laughed and asked if he'd read my blog. No.

Then I have to go back to work. (I was on a split shift.) While I was at work, he continued to do the laundry, took the kids to the grocery store, and made dinner. At one point in the day, he casually mentioned that all of Tarzan 2's underwear was in his drawer. It passed over my head until I did a "WHAT?" about 3 hours later. My husband has done the laundry for years. Sometimes better than others. Usually, it gets into a basket. Then my mother will fold it (she lives with us). Then it will just sit. And sit. And sit. For some reason, he didn't have it in him to take it all the way. I try to put it away. But sometimes for some reason or another, I don't get to it. And then it's in like 3 different baskets and it's a big mess. I should not even be saying this, because I don't want to recreate this old situation except for the fact that I want you, dear reader, to understand magnitude of the fact that the laundry MADE IT UPSTAIRS AND INTO THE DRAWERS WITHOUT ME! Today. For perhaps the first day ever.

Oh man, do I love having my husband take care of me!

It is so awesome!

I'm going to allow that much more. Wow. He also mentioned that he has been working on keeping things clutter-free. I have been working on cleaning things more too. It is getting better and better around here.

My home is getting better and better and I am more and more cared for! Wow.

Love it.
