Mercury Retrograde Re-Run

In honor of Mercury Retrograde (and the insane amount of things I have to do around my house currently), I'm rerunning a post I made about Mercury Retrograde last year. Enjoy!

From September 24, 2008:

Mercury turned retrograde today.

I feel compelled to share this with people. If you're not familiar, check it out here.

Anything starting with re- is generally a good thing to do during Mercury Retro. Read, relax, revise, remember, restore... You get the idea. (I've already re-vised this entry like 3 times!)

Generally, weird things happen that you think could be really bad and take a lot of time and sometimes some money, but usually aren't too serious in the end. Mercury is the trickster.

For example, today already, I dropped my coffee twice in the car on the way to work. It was a bother, but didn't hurt anything and I still had plenty of coffee left (thank goodness for lids)! A co-worker called in with a mysterious illness. She wasn't sure if she could make it in or not. She was trying to get in to the doctor, but didn't know if she could. She got to the doctor and they said they've seen this weird thing (We've seen it on her, too, she's not faking), but they have no idea what it is. She wasn't able to come into work. We had to cover her clients. There was some hustle, but it all worked out. One lady ended up coming in 25 minutes early for her appointment, which was perfect because that was the only time I had available to help her. It all works out.

My favorite watch-words for Mercury retrograde:
Patience
Humor

I decided that humor sounded like more fun.

My affirmation today is:
"Lots of funny things happen during Mercury Retrograde"

I've seen it happen already today. It's been pretty funny. I choose funny! Right as I decided that my affirmation for the day is "Lots of funny things happen during Mercury Retrograde," one co-worker who DID make it in, did the funniest little dance in greeting me. Law of attraction, Baby.

Daily Focus, 1/13/09

Our friend, planet Mercury, has gone retrograde again to have a little fun with us.

Here is my Mercury Retrograde focus:

Be patient
Find humor
Go with the flow
Follow the path of least resistance

I found humor and the path of least resistance to be very helpful last Mercury retrograde. Here we go again! (Again.)

Whoa! Forgot Daily Focus today & some results

Perhaps Daily Focus is very necessary.

I used Segment Intending (Intending what I wanted from each part of my day.) I hadn't even realized I forgot the daily focus. It was a somewhat un-focused day. Ha. We tried to go to Roloff Farms and never got there because there was a line of cars for a mile and half before we even got close. Oh well, it was mostly fun anyway. Especially considering that we were basically in the car for 5 hours just to have Burger King for lunch and get some coffee on the way home. So, I guess I will do my focus now for the rest of the day.

Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

My home is harmonious.

(btw, it is much cleaner--it has been getting "magically" cleaned!)

The people in my home get along and are happy.

I have a good date tonight with my husband. Well, I just got an inclination that my manifestations with that are coming faster -- he just came up and kissed me right as I was writing that. And again. And again. Gotta go! Just kidding.

I did find $40 in my living room this morning. So, I am a magnet to money. The truth is that it was my husband's money that fell out of his pocket, but still.

I easily make healthy choices for myself and my family. I enjoy fun times today.

All is well.

Daily Focus 10/15/08

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Today is a great day.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Just felt like doing that.

It feels good. Try it!

Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

Today I am in the flow.

Today there is peace and prosperity around me.

I am peace and prosperity.

My home is comfortable, cozy, happy. It feels good to be here.

I take inspired action.

My husband is successful. He takes great care of me. (Interesting, noticing a little resistance to that last sentence. Must be my independent woman upbringing. I'll try again.) My husband takes great care of me. I allow my husband to take great care of me. I LOVE it when my husband takes care of me. It feels good to have him take care of me. I can still take care of myself. It is just nice to have someone help. I allow the flow of well-being that comes to me through my husband. It is all the same well-being. I always have access to it. The universe sends me well-being. I am well-being. I allow it. Sometimes it comes through my husband. Sometimes it comes from other places. But, in truth, my husband does take great care of me. He cooks and cleans and takes care of the children. He does the laundry. He does sweet things for me. He compliments me. He is working on our financial future all the time. He is developing his artistic abilities. He takes great care of all of us!

Ok, I think I did some good things there.

Now I must be gettin'.

Nothing is more important than that I feel good.
I am in the flow.

Mercury goes direct today! Wahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I'm so appreciative of all the wonderfulness Mercury Retrograde has brought. And I'm appreciative that it is moving direct.

Random Thought: Quiet Mercury Retro

You may notice I've haven't been gabbing as much on here lately. When I started this blog, I made the decision I would only write when I felt called. And if I felt called a lot, I'd write a lot. If not, not. I've actually written way more than I thought I would.

I haven't felt called as much lately. Sometimes this happens during Mercury Retrograde. It can be a quieter time. But I'm getting some rumblings. There is always an ebb and flow. So, was it Depeche Mode that said, "Enjoy the Silence"? (I believe it was.) Enjoy the silence. I'm sure it won't last for too long!

Daily Focus, 10/1/08

This is my Daily Focus. Feel free to add yours in the comments. Or put it anywhere!

I think, in honor of Mercury Retrograde, I'm going to do a re-run of yesterday's focus.

From Abraham:

Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

Also, I intend to use this Mercury Retrograde to remember to follow the path of least resistance and go with the flow. It's been really helpful for that.

Also, I got a message from Enlightened Messages for your Soul in my email this morning that said, "Your mission is to enjoy this life." I like that.

OK. Re-cap:
Nothing is more important than that I feel good.
Follow the path of least resistance.
Go with the flow
My mission is to enjoy this life.

Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

Here's a little Mercury Retro Fun for early a.m. (then I really must jump a shower). I decided to really give in yesterday and bought a political t-shirt. I have never been this political in my life. Well, maybe, in the early '90s in COLLEGE. And I'm not even saying I'm being super-political. This is just a lot for me. But, I've been inspired. So, I had the impulse, and I spent my $12 to get the t-shirt I really wanted and AFTER I ordered it, I noticed that they told me "It could take up to 2-4 weeks to receive your t-shirt."

Quoi?

In this age of instant gratification?

For such a timely thing.

2-4 WEEKS?

I actually had a feeling that might happen. So it made me laugh really hard. I don't begrudge the $12 I spent to help get young voters registered. It should get here in time for the election. I bet it gets here way earlier than that. But, man did it crack me up.

Enjoying life, here.

Ok, that was a little sidetrack in the Daily Focus.

Nothing is more important than that I feel good.

Results: Old Navy Save, More Mercury Retro, and Dogs in Sweaters

Ha ha. Gotta love Mercury Retrograde. The funniest things happen during Mercury Retrograde. I was going to call this post "Old Navy Sale" but "Old Navy Save" came out instead. That's fine. The phrase that came to me yesterday was "The Path of Least Resistance." And then, later, as I was reading the below, I actually READ it. Maybe I had been reading it before. Who knows.

So anyway. I am so abundant! I saved $78 at Old Navy yesterday. It was awesome. (The sale is still going on today if you want to check it out.) In stores only. I only bought stuff for Zane (Time was a factor). I should go back for me!

Also, this is another Mercury moment. On Friday, I was balancing my accounts, and it was going pretty well (with a lot of patience), but it wasn't making sense to me why there wasn't as much money in one account as I thought there should be. I'm thinking I have to take out of savings or whatever because we had sort of been splurging. It's fine. And all of a sudden I realize, "DOH! I've been carrying around a check in my wallet for over a week!" So, let it be my intention now that Cafepress starts sending out their money right to our bank. Direct deposit. I would love that. However, it's fun finding money in your wallet, too. So, it's all good. Found money. Love it. I find money all the time. Mwahhh ha haaaa!

And yesterday we got the dog groomed. I don't know why I felt the need to add that to the results except that we love our little dog. And results is really a celebration of all that is right with your manifestations. So, we want to celebrate that. When he gets groomed, it's like we get a new dog, but we still love him. It's so funny. The whole family fawns all over him. He struts around proudly. He's so soft. We resolved yesterday to get him groomed more often. It is better for him and it's so darn fun having such a cute, well-cared for pup.

Here he is, dressed in a sweater, on my favorite kitchen chair. (Love dogs in sweaters.)
