This is so freaky. But so cool. I've been wanting a new phone. But I use the one I have now about once a month. I know, I am a freak. I couldn't really justify the expense. So I get on Facebook and see that one of my friends is selling pretty much the exact phone I was considering. But I'm still having a hard time justifying it. I mean, I am quitting my job, right? I start thinking of making him an offer somewhat less than his "buy now" price. As I'm thinking this, he writes to me with the exact price I'm considering.
I'm thinking, "Well, maybe this is a sign." But, getting back to the whole "I don't really use my phone and I maybe shouldn't spend money on something I don't use right now," I am thinking I probably shouldn't buy it. When I still can't justify it, he tells me he will give me the phone for a little bit of PR work. I felt a little weird about it at first, but then I realized that's just the way of the universe. So, right on. I'm getting a new phone!

A little bit of background on this situation. It's been a few months since I even thought of that phone. I had given up on it. Sometimes that's how it works.
